Rachel Thanks for sharing, Dana!

What's a pierogie?

message 2: by Dana (new)

Dana Burkey Haha!! A pierogie is a potato filled pasta. It kind of looks like a little half circle, with all the edges pinched together. It is a Slovak favorite, so my family ate them all the time growing up! They are really good with butter and onions! Man....now I am super hungry!!!! haha

It's like a polish dumpling and it's usually stuffed with potatoes and cheese. They're so good!

Especially when sauteed with onions and garlic and maybe a little bacon if you're in a bocon-y sort of mood.

I've never added bacon to the pan! I might need to try that! My go to is always the cheddar and chives with lots of butter and onions. And then of course some nice Italian sausage with it!

You should try kielbasa instead of Italian sausages too! It's all soo good! (Sorry Sean... hope the keyboard isn't sparking and fizzing lol)

Too late, Aja...but, this seems to be a recurring theme with you, so it's not the first time my poor keyboard has been so abused.

To be honest...I was going to say kielbasa, but I could not figure out how to spell it so I went for something I would not totally butcher! haha As I said in the facts above, I am terrible at spelling!
