Update
Sorry it's taken me so long to post, but with my books, scripts and real estate I don't come here as often as I should.
It's been an interesting year down Austin way. Political changes--Austin is one of the few big cities in the nation governed by a female majority on the new ten member council--and the weather has been dreadful.
We went from drought to flood in a couple of months. Too many people lost their lives because we were not sufficiently prepared but counties and other agencies are stepping up with barricades and a more proactive warning system.
On the lighter side, I've enjoyed being around my sons again after many years in CA. I see them often and in fact am going to see a riff on Hound of the Baskervilles on an open air amphitheater in Round Rock this weekend with my son Jason and his girlfriend Sara. It's supposedly really funny....Austin has something fun to do 365 days a year!
I've also started looking at historic properties for potential redevelopment. We'll see if I can find something that fits all the criteria.
As time allows I'm revising my script version of my Dorchester novel Heaven's Rogue. It was never really submitted back when I worked on scripts exclusively because I've had a hard time converting it to the sparer script style but I'm still working on it.
My newest Ranger book, Sinclair Justice, is coming out the end of July. I'd love to hear what readers think of it...
Regards, Colleen
