Naturally I love hearing from readers who enjoy my books, particularly when they are familiar with the area. A recent email from someone who visits the Yorkshire Dales said that 'reading your books ... inspires me every time I go back up to visit places I've read about.' That is exactly why I set the stories in the towns and villages around the Dales and one reason why visitors seem to enjoy them.
