Inherited Evil

Rate this book
First it was Ascent of Evil, and the horror began. Now, the second tome of The Darke Lyfe Trilogy: Inherited Evil.
Harrison Van Gilter is back: cold, cunning, and cruel. And all the good within Panama City, Florida may not be enough to contain him.
Dr. Steven Atticus and his friends are fighting time, weather, and malevolence to save the citizens of a coastal city viciously held hostage.
From New Orleans to Suriname, from a federal court to the center of a hurricane, the predators are on the move, and the vampyre trail is littered with kidnappings, predatory attacks, viral infection and death. The vampyre's vision is now reality, because Harrison Van Gilter has inherited evil!

About the author

Michael Goldcraft

7 books9 followers
Michael Goldcraft is a senior biologist and marine ecologist. He fiction reflects his scientific background and adds credibility to his work. For example, when attempting to create "real" vampires and vampyres (there is a difference) Goldcraft has attempted - in a Crichton style - to build biological credibility into his transgenic predators. And his fiction is contemporary, set in present day. His vampyres present a real challenge to law enforcement, including the FBI, and the Panama City Police Department (PCPD). His work is not just horror, but is "multi-genre" and includes significant mystery, detection, police procedural, thriller and science fiction. His work is tightly written and fast-paced. Both Ascent of Evil and Inherited Evil won First Place Awards at the Florida Writers Association's Royal Palm Literary Awards in 2010 and 2012. The final tome of The Darke Lyfe Trilogy will be submitted in the RPLA competition in 2012.
