I was privileged to read this as a dissertation prior to its publication. Freeman covers all the details of Zinzendorf's fascinating life and Christianity.

For those who wish to understand better a significant part of Søren Kierkegaard's own relationship to Christianity, familiarity with Zinzendorf is crucial. Freeman's text accomplishes the task very well.
