I think this book is very factual with a larger starlet like Marilyn Monroe it's hard to find books with hard or unquestionable facts. I've learned that she married at 16 to her neighbor Jim Dougherty he was age 21, she also idolize the actor Clark Gable because she once was told he looked like her father which she didn't have a relationship with. If i ever had project on the late Miss Monroe i would use this book as a source.

Originally I chose this book just because I thought a biography would be an easy thing to do an English project on, but after reading the book I actually really enjoyed it . I learned a lot about Marilyn Monroe and what her life was like . I always figured that she had a perfect life but came to find that it was far from that .

I just got this book yesterday with my English Class . I am on the second chapter. I think Marilyn Monroe has lived an interesting life time. She grew up beautiful, and use to getting everything she wanted. I will keep adding a review.

My favorite quote from the last page of the book... "Fame is fickle, it's not what fulfills you. It warms you a bit, but the warming is temporary." Her romance with Joe DiMaggio is one of a kind...I'm interested to know more about it.
