I always enjoy reading Samantha Joyce's animal books because they bring the animal world to life for young readers (and as an adult, I also learn fascinating facts!) and often contain a subtle life message about friendships, caring for others and respecting your environment. In "Wolves" you get a delightful tale between the mother wolf and her cub, as she explains all about being a wolf, for example, where the other wolves live, diet, the reason why wolves hunt together and why some wolves are facing extinction and what humans are doing to help protect and conserve the wolf population.
