This is what I learned from this book:
Dalam teater, orang-orang di belakang layar panggung itu SAMA PENTINGNYA dengan para pemain di atas panggung. Pemain dengan jumlah dialog sedikit juga SAMA PENTINGNYA dengan pemain dengan jumlah dialog banyak. Bisa jadi, pemain yang akan mendapat aplaus panjang dari penonton, sutradara yang mendapat tepukan di punggungnya atas desain kostum dan dekorasi panggung yang keren, tapi bagaimana para pemain dan sutradara mendapatkan appraisal itu kalau tidak ada orang2 di belakang panggung? Teknisi yang mengurus lampu, desainer yang merancang kostum, petugas panggung yang memastikan property ada di tempat yang tepat, manajer panggung yang memastikan latihan berjalan sesuai jadwal dan pementasan berjalan sesuai pada waktu latihan. Mereka yang 'tak kelihatan' inilah yang mendukung sebuah pementasan dapat sukses.
