En este libro he escuchado la voz de Jordi Sierra i Fabra más que nunca, aparte de en "La página escrita", claro está, su manual de escritura. Y es que Jordi, proyectándose en el personaje ficticio de Valentina Valls, una escritora de renombre, refleja muchos de sus mantras literarios: "vivir para sentir", "fama no, reconocimiento sí", "no corras, ser escritor es para toda la vida", "piensa en ser feliz escribiendo", "los libros no se escriben: se sienten" y un largo etcétera. Quizás por ello la historia me ha llegado más, porque escuchaba la voz de Jordi tras la figura de Valentina Valls y yo me reflejaba en el personaje de Lorena, su pupila, quien debe encarar el legado de la escritora difunta y acabar una novela inconclusa. Porque sí, este libro acaba siendo metaliteratura, un libro que habla sobre un libro (inconcluso). Jordi ha sido capaz de tocarme el alma, aunque entiendo que aquellos lectores que no sienten un interés especial hacia el proceso creativo puedan sentir que la trama avanza lentamente.

Un libro con un mensaje final bueno , pero la historia y la forma en la que lleva el autor a la protagonista hasta el climax final , es un poco aburrido . Creo que el nombre del libro hace justicia a como es el libro . Realmente podríamos resumir las 100 primeras hojas en una y las últimas 30 son las más entretenidas.
Aun así el libro no es malo.
