Excellent book for absolute beginners! It's a quick intro to writing the art of poetry. My creative juices in writing poetry have been running dry and I thought I'd go over some tutorial books on the internet archive. I am a young adult already but I have gotten some ideas out of this book, especially having recalled as well all sorts of simple poems we can actually start writing right away <33.

I chose this book by Cecelia Minden to learn about the various ways (using activities) to show anyone how to write poems. This would be great to use when introducing students to poetry. Minden also has other "How to" books that would be useful in any classroom.
