When Darwin found himself in need of legal advice, he knew just the lawyer to call. Seeing Bridget again sparked a longing in him for something he never knew he wanted—beauty and brains. But with his star rising and tabloid scandals running amok, could he convince Bridget that there's more to him than just the playboy bachelor she remembered?

Sweet Dreams Do Come True

This is the first novel I've read by Mrs. Deborah Fletcher Mello. I can't say it was my favorite romance but it had a very interesting plot. This romance touched on quite a few social issues, such as a woman not wanting to have children, a man with erectile dysfunction, and another woman with mental illness, with all these issues the author was still able to pull the storyline together quite well. The characters were well developed and with all their issues you thought this would have been an oh, so very serious novel, but it was quite humorous at times and I must admit LOL at some of Darwin's comments and antics throughout this story, especially surrounding his own problems. I thought the romance between Darwin and Bridget was sweet and endearing considering they were still able to engage in heated passion despite his penile problems. The brotha knew how to please his woman, what more could a woman ask for! Again, although it wasn't the best romance I've ever read, I still found it to be an intriguing and interesting read.

This book was a very good and quick read. I enjoyed the relationship with Bridget and Darwin from the start. I was also interesting to learn the ED can be caused by emotional issues and not just those related to a mans health. I was glad that they worked out their differences regarding children so that they were able to make the relationship work. I feel that if they can get over that hurrdle they can overcome anything together. When it is true love there is very few things that have to power to interfere.

Very bland story. I don't think it was bad but it just didn't make me care too much about the characters. The "thing" that happened was really not that big of a deal unless a person is married. It was interesting that they touched on erectile dysfunction as well as a woman choosing to not have children.

Side note is the odd names of the identical twins...maybe I missed something.

this book was cool but if there was anything I would change about this book it would be that it was unrealistic in many ways.

This book I enjoyed how the had known each other but keep their feelings for each other to themselves. She has always had a mad crush on him and it took him to need her help to fall in love with her.
