The last available man by Cindy Blake. This story mostly focus on relationships between sisters, family, male and female. It's about two step sisters who are in thirties and single. They lived a difficult life as a kids with divorced parents. They started to be close to each other when they left together in London for studying. When they started to search a man for future and here their relationship started to be complex. I felt sorry for how their relationship ended. I loved the way that the author wrote this story, he made me fell like I'm one of the character, feeling sad for their pain, and happy for their joy. I recommend you to read this story, it will never make feel boring.
Three women, lamenting the lack of good men and their unmarried state. Nothing new, but still, I enjoyed this book. There are mix ups aplenty, and the romance is cliched and unbelievable, but this sappy story was exactly what I was in the mood for.
As I've said before, some days you want Austen or a Bronte, other days nothing but woman's day gossip will do. Today was a Woman's day kind of day, but this sufficed.
I loved this book. loved the concept if project x and how the story weaved around in comic mistakes. the only bad bit was the end that was just too abrupt as though the author got fed up and just wanted to finish.
This might be the worst book I've ever read. If I could give negative stars I would. A classmate in London gave this to me. I ran out of other books to read and read it the night I spent at Gatwick Airport, too nervous about my stuff to fall asleep in the terminal by myself. This is a dreadfully awful book, even by chick lit standards (which are decidedly low). Everything is contrived. Nothing is funny. There are points where it tries to be witty that are just sad. I only read the whole thing because all the stores in the airport were closed. I ended up leaving it in a hostel in Amsterdam; the thought of carrying it with me any longer became revolting to me. I feel bad for the poor soul that picked it up and attempted to read it.
Once again, I gave 3.5 stars. This one is for this novel. Bagussss. Sinopsisnya kudunya ditambahin ama cerita tentang Sadie, sang asisten pribadi mereka deh... Soalnya, yang buntutnya menemukan cinta sejati kan gak cuma Georgie ama Jessica doang...
Georgie & Morgan Blaine, Jess & Morgan Hancock, Sadie & Larimer Richards... You know what guys? I was thinking that "the Gentleman" Sadie met was the real Morgan Blaine. I thought it would be great if the three of them got the same boyfriend's name, Morgan... But this is quite an interesting novel...
I liked this book a lot. Its a good romantic comedy for young girls. But i think many people don't like it cause it is kinda cliche and the sisters in this book are over-dramatic, but i thought it was entertaining. And it was what i was in the mood for. Plus it doesn't have anything inappropriate in it.
