Dave Hecker’s ‘Outsourcing Web Projects’ has impressed me as his massive experience in the industry shines through. The concepts and ideas detailed in the book are relevant to this day. This book is a power-house of information that will not only teach you how to select the correct vendor for your outsourcing project, but also how you can become a great client! Whether it’s the initial selection process, fruitful interactions that lead to lower prices and higher quality or it’s the legality of project documents, Hecker has incorporated all aspects of the process to ensure success. Look out for ‘The Ten Commandments of the Great Client’. Excellent read!

This book is an extremely practical approach to outsourcing. I found the wealth of information very relevant, to the point and clearly explained. No doubt the steps entailed in this book are going to be very useful for clients looking to outsource web projects and at the same time it will be beneficial to vendors also as they can learn what the clients usually look for in vendors. I will be sure to use these easy steps for my next outsourcing project. Highly recommended!
