Good concepts- I'm always sketchy of bottled native wisdom for American (U.S., that is!) eyes- but it matches up with a lot of other perspectives, including 12 Step programs, Pathwork, Alice Miller, Joseph Campbell, and other sound ways of being.
So this was basically an overview of what happens in Toltec warrior power journeys. It had some good points, I did take away some things. But it wants me to spend years doing the outlined exercises, which I don't think would be as beneficial to anyone reading the book by themselves as compared to an actual journey led and guided by an actual nagual with a group of people. I also didn't like how most of the exercises were copy and pasted for each level. Would be more efficient to say "refer to heart meditation used in level 1" instead of wasting 2 pages to copy and past it for each level. And.. there were a few errors like double words or two words switched backwards. That stuff irks me when the editor/writer overlooks it multiple times.
