I really enjoyed this parody of the long-running chicken soup for the soul books. I've always hated those books – their sappy, emotionally manipulative stories. This book was much more up my alley – each story was work of satire, mimicking stories that have actually appeared in the books.joyfully pessimistic, this was black humor at its best.
