Patrick McGrath was born in London and grew up near Broadmoor Hospital where his father was Medical Superintendent. He was educated at Stonyhurst College. He is a British novelist whose work has been categorized as gothic fiction. He is married to actress Maria Aitken and lives in New York City.

Me gustaron mucho las historias que relatan y los temas tocados, al terminar una historia siempre me quedaba con emociones revueltas y queria saber más de los personajes y la ultima historia fue la que más me dejó con intrigas. Recomiendo este libro si te interesan los temas de suspenso e historia.
