Monkey is making a very special delivery with a little help from a lot of wheels. Starting with a unicycle, Monkey doubles that wheel so he has two-a bicycle! Doubling again, two wheels become four-a car! The fun multiplies until sixty-four wheels-and a surprise ride-get him to the birthday celebration just in time.
Children fascinated by vehicles will delight in Monkey's gentle adventure. And the lively read-aloud text and bright, graphic illustrations make this introduction to basic multiplication twice as nice.

Short, rhyming text with a fun narrative and colorful pictures. I'm thinking it would be great to have in my classroom for my students that really struggle with the idea of double.
Checked this out at the library for Emma. She loves it. We read six times today alone. The pictures are bright and colorful and the story involves a monkey, pizza and a hot air balloon...how could it not be a winner:)

A great introduction in simple multiplication. A monkey is trying to deliver a pizza and keeps jumping from one form of transportation to another, each time doubling the number of wheels.
