Non-fiction books are almost always a read-aloud hit with kindergarteners and first graders. I used this one along with a fiction book about frogs to reinforce the differences between fiction and non-fiction. That's a tough concept for kindergarteners and first graders.

This is a good book for young children, especially if they're just beginning to read short sentences. I like how the pictures are realistic and show the growth of the frog. Good flow. No complaints.
