Geert Conard

Once known for his aversion to networking, Geert Conard experienced a remarkable transformation in the early 2000s when he delved into social business networking through platforms like LinkedIn and Ecademy. In just one year, he succeeded in becoming one of Belgium's TOP Networkers, leading to a profound change not only in his business practices but also in his personal life.

He chronicled this journey in his first book, "A Girlfriend in Every City," where he not only shares his personal story but also imparts valuable methods and insights for effective networking either online or face-to-face. Social business networking introduced him to a diverse range of people with whom he now collaborates, individuals he hadn't even known until he started exchanging ideas with strangers.

Continuing his exploration of networking dynamics and the evolving economy, Geert launched his second book in November 2009, "Friends with Benefits." This book delves deeper into the ever-changing landscape of how we live and work today. In 2012 he wrote his first book in Dutch titled "Hoe SEXY ben jij als ondernemer?".

Today, Geert Conard has achieved international recognition as a public speaker and networker. He manages his own company, Esito Consulting, active in IT, communications and bar consultancy.

In his speeches, Geert generously shares practical networking tips, offering straightforward advice that can easily be implemented to enhance one's networking experience.

Between 2021 and 2024, Geert has carefully researched new expertise for future projects, with a particular focus on communication about gifted children, expanding his horizons to make a meaningful impact in this area. He developed a communication model that prevents communication blockage between teachers, schools, and parents of gifted children. His research and practical tips are summarised in his next book "Hoogbegaafdheid in dialoog".
