He calls himself Ben…sometimes. Mostly he doesn’t think of his name so other people won’t either. He kills people for a living, but he has standards. He uses astrology to help him follow the right path. Only now, someone is following his path—someone he doesn’t trust. Someone who’ll kill the astrologers helping him. The astrologers, who have no idea who he is.

Ben is a very intriguing character who has an interesting approach to his job as a hit man. And when it all falls apart, his potential shines through. I thought he ended the external threat to his world a little too easily, even if it was himself that was the true problem. I also feel like I've seen this ending before, but overall I still enjoyed it.
Nice little story about an assassin who relies on astrologers to help him plan his hits. It's a concept I initially didn't think would work, but author Kristine Kathryn Rusch manages to pull it off. The ending didn't exactly blow my mind, but all in all, "Ghosts" is an effective bit of storytelling...and the perfect length to read over a cup of coffee.
