My time is spent doing a lot of things I've always wanted to have the time to do, including several hours daily writing stories about people who discover (as I have) that God will only allow those things into your life that will help you grow and/or increase your faith.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. Psalm 19:14
At the age of twelve years old, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior and have never been disappointed that I did. He has been with me through trials and tribulations, most of which I brought on myself. Never once have I felt that He deserted me or doesn't love me.
In my writing, I try to bring out the love of God and truth from His Holy Word. I hope that my stories will be a blessing to you.
A land of fairies, Kings, and evil. The Village of Amythaseah only appears to the outside world 7 days out of every hundred years because of a curse that put on them because of the evil that was going on. The King was kind but when he disappeared, the evil prince is ready to take the throne, but first has to take a bride. His choice is Lady Jillian, what happens when she refuses and runs away ? Can the curse be broken and kindness be returned the the village, or will the prince get his bride and the throne that he plans on ruling with prejudice and cruelty. I really enjoyed reading this fairytale of good vs. evil
This fairytale / fantasy story was well-written. It was a good versus evil tale that had me rooting for Lyan and Jillian. The kingdom had been split in two by a spell and many on both sides were unaware of how all of it came about. Years later, Jillian was ordered to marry nasty Prince Maricent, which she wanted no part of. She takes off. Her escape is catalyst for a lot of trouble. Before Jillian gets her happily ever after with Lyan, a showdown takes place and many secrets are revealed.
I never read Fantasy and only did so because I like this Authors books. I had trouble with all the "different" names...perhaps if I had read more of this type of book I would not have had that problem. The jest of the story was interesting.
I loved this story. It had danger, mystery, history, family, friendship, and love. Which are all great things for a GREAT story. I can’t wait to read more books by this wonderful author.
Fairy tales were one of my favorite books to read as a child. Now, as a great grandmother, I found this book enchanting! The best part was that they lived "happily ever after". Reminds me of Rev 22:3-5! Thank you for such a refreshing book!
A magical and enchanting fantasy! Amethyst Lights weaves romance, danger, and faery intrigue into a beautifully imagined world. Jillian’s courage and Lylan’s bravery create a heartfelt story filled with suspense and wonder. A charming escape for lovers of fae fantasy
