From a distance, a relevant discourse on mediated communication. However the chapter layout is extremely poor and, having been written on the crux of Web 2.0, aka, the onset of social media and the "Facebook" boom, even the data on electronically mediated communication is premature, if not completely outdated.

I've learned more from reading online journals than I have this book.
