"With a deep yearning for reality, first time author Hugo Cory dares to challenge himself and the reader to wander beyond the envelope of our conditioning. Direct and poetic, this little book can feel right into your consciousness. Here is a young mind and willing heart, unafraid of its journey." - Bennett Books
I picked up this book because Dr. Junger had mentioned Hugo Cory in his Clean book. He had raved about what an amazing man he was. I thought I would check out his writing. Not quite sure what to think. I don't know if he's serious about the 36 bit or not? That's really here nor there though. At the core the book is a collection of psalms, poems and statements. My favourite being: In Life, it is not a given that we will always be doing what we "feel" like doing. No truer words have been said. I will admit that quite a few passages went over my head, but there was a lot of good bits to meditate on too.
