I picked up this book because Dr. Junger had mentioned Hugo Cory in his Clean book. He had raved about what an amazing man he was. I thought I would check out his writing. Not quite sure what to think. I don't know if he's serious about the 36 bit or not? That's really here nor there though. At the core the book is a collection of psalms, poems and statements. My favourite being: In Life, it is not a given that we will always be doing what we "feel" like doing. No truer words have been said. I will admit that quite a few passages went over my head, but there was a lot of good bits to meditate on too.
