A Norman Rockwell Christmas

by Margaret Rockwell

Norman Rockwell's skilled hand captured the most heartwarming holiday moments as no one else could. Feel the joy and celebrate the holidays with the best of his Christmas illustrations, done for such publications as The Saturday Evening Post and The Literary Digest, as well as for cards and advertisements. This charming collection presents more than 70 of Rockwell's most beloved scenes —including many rarities—and offers a taste of holiday cheer as seen through the eyes of the master illustrator. It's the perfect gift.

80 pages that are 8"x8" with all the famous Christmas themed prints by Norman Rockwell. Short introduction of a couple pages of text. Otherwise, pure prints. Nice to have the 'name/nickname' of the print below each pix, + the date, + source (Evening Post, Hallmark Card, Literary Digest, etc). Nice little collection for the holidays.

Nice holiday book of many of Rockwell's pictures that I hadn't seen before. I enjoyed it.

Nice compilation of Rockwell's holiday themed artwork over the decades. It is good to see his development as an artist through the years.

I enjoyed this book, found on the bedside table where I stayed at a friend's--what a great bedtime read during the Christmas season. Love Rockwell's art.

A beautiful photo anthology of Norman Rockwell Christmas themed paintings with a 4-page introduction, otherwise just a short description under each, full-page photo.
As a young child, I looked forward to my family receiving its monthly "Saturday Evening Post" just to see the cover adorned in another Norman Rockwell painting.

Not a fan, but a nicely designed book for those who are. Recommended for your great aunt.
