Like all anthologies some of the poems just didn’t work for me. However I found most of them funny and a few I loved. The poems are aimed at kids though this fact is probably true of most funny poems and it doesn’t stop them entertaining adults.
Most were mildly amusing at best , but I quite enjoyed the whole collection anyways.
Warning: do not read all in one go, since they do start to get pretty mushed together. Lots of these were pretty similar, and probably more fun to read with days, or weeks in between.

This book was really funny because on most of the stories I have read in this book have all made me laugh. If there was a second book of this then I would read it!
Some of them short, others longer. Some of them poems you'll know, some of them poems you won't. Some of them penned by those you know, some by those you won't. Some styles that you'll like, others, well, maybe not so much. Some you'll remember from your childhood, others that you haven't come across before. Some that will raise a smile, others that will make you chuckle and, yet, others that will see you laughing out loud.
Perfect for anyone like me who isn't that hot on poetry. Within this selection of 366 poems - one for each day of the week (yes, there is even one for the 29th of February should it happen to be a leap year) - there really is such a variety of humorous verses written in various styles by various people.

Targeted (I guess) at the 4 to 112½ age group; this is a lovely book of ‘poems’, mainly of the absurd. Most of the ‘poems’ here possess rhythm (to a greater of lesser extent) and rhyme, though a number, such as those for 16th January and 22nd April, are clear and simple creative writing; nonetheless amusing but totally lacking either verse structure or rhythm.
My new favourites (poems I hadn’t read before) include (but are not limited to: April 9th, May 16th, June 17th, July 14th, July 25th, 11th Sep, 25th Dec, and not forgetting 28th Dec.
This is very funny. It is a funny poem for every day of the year so it is convenient for some one who's reading 2 books. My favorite poem was the one on the 28 of December called 'The Day After The Day After Boxing Day'. I loved the imagination put into this book.
THIS BOOK REALLY IS FOR ANY CHILDREN OR ADULTS TO ENJOY A BOOK FULL OF POEMS THAT ARE FUNNY AND MAKE YOU LAUGH. I REALLY DID ENJOY THAT BOOK BECAUSE THERE WERE SO MUCH POEMS TO READ AND LAUGH.AND THERE IS A POEM FOR EVERYDAY OF THE YEAR.
This is a dip in and wander book... Great short poems for every day and each one can be used to say just one or two things - by the pupils who hear them and/or the teacher. It would be a fun way to end the day and open the imagination and possibilities. A fab book to have on the shelf.
