This book does something that not many children's books can do - it demonstrates the real life of an elementary student's day. The flux of friendships, how quickly you can get your feelings hurt and then corrected over the course of one day, and yet still find time to embrace the seasons and to laugh. This is really well done and it brought back a lot of memories from those early school days, while at the same time reminding us "older kids" how to actually live our lives. Bravo!

This story for children shows how they can become very selective of their friends while leaving others out. It also demonstrates how they can work together to all become friends. This book is recommended for all children.

This was a good book about friendship. It is a book that children can relate too. The 3 main girl characters in this book go back and forth between being friends with one another. At first they can only seem to be friends two at a time so someone is always left out, but at the end when the boys start a snowball fight with them they realize they need another friend to help them out. They seem to figure out that there is room for more than two friends.
