Pas same hlm. 193 tadi, aku mikir, "oh hlm. 212 masih lama nih. masih ada 100 halaman lagi, yeay!" Little did I know kalo hlm itu udah tinggal dikit banget.

Khusus buat vol. 3 ini, aku ngerasain vibe "just because you can, doesn't mean you should".

Mereka potensial dapet peran besar. Wkwkwk.

I still think the series blurb is a bit weird. I had expected based on the blurb that almost all the world had died, instead most of the world population survived it seemed.
Yep, I am still reading. Not sure for how long, I mean, the volumes are fast-paced and quite interesting, but I am also kinda done with people who have the power doing shitty crappy things. So far we haven't found one person who wasn't a total asshole. Even the father. I somewhat get why he wanted to go that far, but still, wtf? And we do get POV of the bad guys (as I would call them) which is also not my cup of tea generally in books.
I did like seeing our MC discover his power and slowly try to figure things out, I am still curious why he is one with powers that cannot do much with it nor can detect others with powers.
I will read one or two more volumes see if things improve, otherwise, bye bye.

Taisuke and Yuta meet a male Comrade who is trying to kill his children.

I'm a bit worried where this series is headed. I want more about the 'suicide virus' and how it affected the world and it seems like it's going to be Taisuke meeting one super-powered person after another. I'll give the next volume a try.

I love people with special powers. Maybe that is why I enjoyed reading superhero comic books while I was growing up. My favorites were Superman and the Fantastic Four. With all of their special powers, they were able to do many incredible things.

Now, in the Alive: The Final Evolution series has a lot of the things I loved about comic books in my youth. Each one of the "comrades" has a power. Of course, most of the "comrades" that we meet in the series are bad, but some are good, and those are the ones that I am cheering on.

Tadashi Kawashima has created an interesting world where a suicide virus has attacked earthlings, and any who catch the virus and don't kill themselves become a "comrade" with a special power. The artwork by Adachitoka is wonderful, but the translation and adaptation to English could be a little better.

There are a lot of phrases in this book that just are not we, as Americans, would say. They are close, just not right.

Another thing I like about this series is the amount of action. Something exciting always seems to be happening.

Overall, Alive: The Final Evolution: Volume 3 is another excellent read and very enjoyable. I cannot wait to continue the journey north with Taisuke and Yuta in Alive: The Final Evolution: Volume 4. It should be interesting.

I rated this book a 9 out of 10.
