An excellent book. I loved the way the author explained each design problem as a story that you can follow and learn from. I loved the way he explained how each design firm tackled the job, what paths they followed, what aspects they considered and what problems they faced. An excellent book.

In some cases it gets into the construction of foam models, or sketches and prototypes; but in other cases its just the story of a designer who had an inspiration, or a good illustrator, and they talked the client into their idea. Sort of hit or miss, as many collections are. Might have enjoyed twice as much material on a much smaller group, but it made an interesting browse.
