This comprehensive 448 page book, with more than 1000 illustrations, about the world's most famous band, is an extraordinary feast of superb photographs, original memorabilia, newspaper features and a detailed chronology.
Just give me a moment to get over the glorious and overwhelming amount of gorgeous photos of Paul in here. Hmm let me think, yes, Paul is my favourite...

One of the best books about The Beatles...it contains a day-by-day chronicle which runs through the entire book, yet does not impede on the articles and anecdotes which populate most of the pages. And the photos, oh the photos. I swear I spent about two hours just flicking through the photos. The pages are that really nice shiny paper (oh yes, getting technical now hehe) which just added to the quality feel of the book. The value of this tome was even greater considering that I managed to nab it for just $20 at a QBD bookshop.
So I think I have made it quite obvious that this is my Beatles bible and that any Beatles fan deserves to have this in their collection.
Now, would you please excuse me will I go off and look at all the photos of Paul again...
P.s Now that I am solidly Team Cynthia and not Team Yoko I was glad to see she actually got a mention AND photos in this book...a very nice change to my previous favourite Beatles book which barely mentioned her. Go Cynthia!!
