This entire book feels like it's written in fast forward mode. Everything happens within a matter of minutes or hours instead of days like I feel it should. Open the door to a sabertooth tiger shifter on your front porch? No worries! Give us 20 minutes and we're totally cool with it. Oh, we have to have sex with him and each other because we're all mates or he'll die? Half hour tops to freak out, then pass the lube.

Also, for a pair of ex-marines Ty and Cord sure do cry a lot and flip out a lot. I'm not saying manly men don't cry. They do, and they should! They just don't freaking cry at the drop of a hat. Maybe they were discharged from the marines for having wicked mood swings? I dunno.

I caught myself rolling my eyes a lot reading this book. And it's a shame, because the overall plot has tons of potential. But it feels like the author wrote the book outline, then went back and quickly fleshed it out with some dialog and a few adverbs and adjectives and published it.

Meh.

I don't even know where to start with this review ( I use that term loosely, cause I'm just going to go to town on this story).
I like ménage stories, no, I LOVE m/m/m. I also love paranormals, growling shifters and this one (in theory) had everything I could ever want.
Unfortunately it had a saber tooth tiger shifter who after escaping decades in captivity stumbles across his mates ( yes sabers need two, because they have such a huge sex drive). So, he shifts in front of the humans and tells them he needs to claim them as his mates or he will die in two day. But you know, no pressure.
There was a lot going on in this book, foremost tearing up and crying, baby, giggling, saying mate, sex, saying want you and love you, more tears, learning about shifters, more giggling, more sex, some tears, baby, nipple piercing ( on that note, you do not pierce nipples with earrings, and you do not like, bite and nibble on them within minutes of piercing!) some drama, tears, sex and more sex and another round of my mate all around and sappy tears and more sex, baby.

Now, it sounds like I didn't like it, and in a way I didn't, but it was also so ridiculous that it was entertaining, in its own strange way.

OMG, why do I even *try* to read Joyee Flynn's works any more?? Each time I swear I'll never venture there again, then I read a promising-sounding blurb ...
I cringe at the writing. The ideas are awesome but the character building? The plot? The grammar? *shudder*

I really liked this story about a lost and lonely weretiger (a sabertooth, no less), who finds his mates. There are lots of emotions. The two humans are ex-Marines who struggle with not wanting to admit that they are gay and have loved each other for years, and Avery is the catalyst who makes them realize what has been going on. The process isn't easy for them, but they figure it out by the time external enemies turn up who threaten everything.

This was a lovely mix of emotion, suspense and learning about yet another type of shifter world. Anyone who likes cats, tigers, shifters (or all three) will probably like this book.

Yeah yeah, I know this is Menage Amour, but I just can't help myself sometimes. I don't know what it is about these books that tickles my fancy from time to time, but it's kind of like they're so bad they're good, you know? Well, "good" is a relative term, I suppose. For me at least, Menage Amour books are good for when I'm in the mood to read something quick, easy, smutty, and totally over-the-top in the sappy emotion department. And luckily for me today, Here Kitty, Kitty totally fit the bill.

Bottom Line: It's Menage Amour - need I say more?

Here, Kitty, Kitty is a fast-paced romance, delving into the extraordinary world of the shifter. Ms. Flynn has created a new world with new rules and rituals, and even features an extinct saber tooth tiger shifter. I think you will find this book is a refreshing break from the ordinary.

This is the first in the Purrfect Mates series, and fans of this author will be pleased to know that the next two are already available. The story takes off right away as the protagonists meet under dire circumstances. The two ex-Marines, Cord and Tyson are the perfect match for Avery, a man dispossessed of any comfort or protection. I take joy in reading characters who are well-rounded and exhibit behavior that matches their personality in a consistent manner. Ms. Flynn allows these men to develop and change, growing as people, creating a viable triad.

Once their inhibitions are released, these three men light up the sky with the fireworks their sexual encounters create. It is satisfying to this reader to discover the dominant/submissive roles in the bed, shower, hot tub or any convenient flat surface, are surprisingly unpredictable. The dialogue was white hot creating the perfect preamble to their lovemaking. These romps were balanced with romantic and tender love scenes.

Here, Kitty, Kitty was an incredibly short book, and I wish that Cord and Tyson's relationship before Avery would have been fleshed out a little more. It is my hope that Ms. Flynn plans to continue these characters' development in her future installments. I am pleased to report there are very few editing errors, and the writing flows well from one page to the next. I have included a violence tag as there are some elements that are very intense.

Witty banter, intense eroticism, and blossoming romance are nicely combined in this rapid read. I think you will genuinely enjoy this book, and recommend picking it up. I have already purchased the next two books in the series because I connected with the characters, and look forward to the rest of their story and more. I'll end with my favorite quote from Here, Kitty, Kitty: “Then good thing fate gave you two ex-Marines...We can take care of this, baby.”

Joyee Flynn’s books remind me somewhat of Lynn Hagen and Stormy Glenn’s. I like them all, so it is no surprise that I liked the start of this series. A Saber-toothed cat! I just love when an author writes about something that is extinct. I just wish a little more of the cat appeared in the story.

I loved all three main characters. Who doesn’t love cowboys and a shifter? I wish they had been expanded a bit more. I wanted to get to know them better. I wanted to see them deal more with their problems and work things out together. With the action in the book and all the events, this didn’t happen.

Finally, the way that Avery had to mate got me a little. I read instant love (even though I find it unrealistic) and don’t mind mate bonds (and like them many times), but this book moved a little fast. I think expanding the book and adding a little more time would have helped the story extremely.

At this point I can kinda see a possible continuing storyline. Not sure how it will go. I am hoping that it will expand using some of the side characters from the local wolf pack. I’ll have to read the next book to see.

Overall, the book was good. It could use a little expansion, but kept me entertained. I do plan on looking at more in the series and hope to see recurring characters. Here’s hoping for wolves and cats getting together.

Oh. My. Fucking. God.

Basically, if finding an extinct animal on their porch didn't freak Tweedle Big Dick and Tweedle Bigger Dick out, I don't know why they were so fussy about the gay-for-you fuck fest that followed.

Utter, utter, utter crap and too excruciatingly awful to even consume as porn or fluff.

Ok seriously, why do I even bother trying to read these types of stories anymore. Well, sometimes they're ok, but other times it just becomes too much. I keep feeling that I'm reading stories on little girls. Anyway, yeah. I need to stay away from books like this. So not for me

Sex, crying, giggling
Drowning in fluff and sugar
Eye rolling central

Seriously, if eye rolling burnt calories, I'd be done exercising for the week. Over the top fluff. Enjoyable somewhat.

This book doesn't deserve any stars. At all. Some people said that it was 'fast paced' wow what an understatement! I thought hey I'd give it a try, it might surprise me. But NO. Seriously people I wouldn't bother wasting your time reading this sad excuse of a 'book' . I've read crappy books before but this takes the cake. So... Apparently these two friends have loved each other for years and they just need a little push from their 'mate' to realise their feelings for each other and for him, fine. Ok I can deal with that and let's be serious I can deal with folks getting hot and heavy in books fast ;) but it's ridiculous! It's literally." Hey I'm a shifter, I'm gay, you're both gay and you need to realise it so I can fuck you or I'll die. Kay? Kay!" and thats pretty much it and boom bang he's kissing them and getting them to do stuff to him and they don't hesitate in touching him? At all? Seriously? Even if they'd been having feelings for eachother for years even though these two friends have 'loved' eachother for ages they've never acted on them emotions so come on if they had been thinking they're straight then they would hesitate in touching someone else's well... Junk. But they don't at all. Also what's really annoying is how straight away the two friends are all 'aw baby' to the shifter and it's just bloody ridiculous. Especially how it all centers around the shifter, ok so two friends who have loved/lusted after eachother since high school finally realise their feelings for eachother 'because ' of this guy and they barely flipping touch eachother !? Like seriously, they barely touch unless it's something to do with the shifter. The Hell? Officially the worst book I've read in my life. Going by the amount of books I've read, that's saying something. Please don't make the mistake of reading this book.

Well...at the very least, this was refreshing on how little posturing there was on the parts of the non-shifter MCs. They were very much modern day individuals, well-immersed in modern pop culture, and not at all averse to entertaining the notion that hmm, perhaps I hadn't been hallucinating after all when I saw that saber-tooth turn into a man.

It gets into the sex really damn quickly. And then there's a lot, a lot of sex.

There's so much wrong with it (earrings as nipple rings? Seriously?) that it pushed over into the realm of amusing.

Whatever else, this thing probably had one of the best comebacks to homo-odes angry about gay PDAs ("This is a family store!"):
(something along the lines of) "Yeah, well I've still got my clothes on, so shut up."

typical joyee flynn serial romance. nothing fantastic, nothing so bad it can't be finished. what is typical joyee flynn? imagine a shorter harlequin romance but with no t&a (see, i was going to write no surprise pregnancies, but... yeah.).

out of sheer laziness, i will be using this as my template for all books by :
joyee flynn
sunny day
lynn hagen
stormy glenn
scarlett hyacinth
carol lynne
gabrielle evans

unless otherwise noted. i'd apologize, but i'm not sorry. i figure it's about as much time as they put into their books. dammit! well, i made it all the way to the end being rather moderate in my assessment. that's a win

I love when favourite authors start new series. Here Kitty, Kitty is a brilliant start to what looks to me like becoming another must read series by Joyee Flynn.

The characters were great and there was plenty of action in the plot to hold my interest. There was lots of smoking hot sex too which is never a bad thing :)

I can't wait for the next book in this new series, there can never be too many shifter stories for me.

This book moved quickly from meeting each other to being in love but it worked for these guys. All 3 men clicked right from the beginning and I loved how they interacted with each other. I also loved how they protected each other when danger came. Plus the sex was hot, hot! I'm not usually one for menage but I loved this book. The author took the time to build a strong mythology for these shifters and their mates. This was a great start to a series.

I started on a Joyee trip yesterday and have almost completed the "Purrfect" series. I loved this first book, and giggling aside (do men really do that?), I found it a good read. The characters were flawed, but got a chance to explore themselves and their partners. It was funny to see grown-assed men beg though.

Here Kitty Kitty starts out with Avery showing up on Cord and Tyson’s doorstep. Tyson and Cord have always been in love with each other, but it takes the appearance of Avery to get them to act on their feelings. I felt that Avery making them act on their feelings made Ty and Cord’s love for one another somewhat lesser.

The interaction between the three of them was great. Even the interaction between Ty and Avery or Cord and Avery was good. It was the interaction between Ty and Cord that was lacking.

I truly enjoyed the coming together of the werecats and werewolves. Avery’s family seemed like really likeable characters. I would enjoy seeing more from his siblings.
This is a nice start to an interesting series.

This book was reviewed for Musings of a bookworm

This was an improbable story with the most accepting men on the planet!! Having said that it was still a fun little thing that was fun and sexy and a great start to a series. There are some heavy themes dealt with in this book and I suspect the series as a whole but the books are very short, just over 100 pages, so I don't see them being able to say much beyond this happened to this person oh what a shame let have sex. Unless the next books are longer of course then just maybe this will be a hot series with something to say, we will just have to wait and see!!

Personally I found this book a little too fast phased for my own tastes. I mean who open the door for a sabre toot tiger?.... I mean really? Who believes someone when they say that they will die if you don't have sex with them in the next 48hr?.... Apparently two ex-marines do, who just so happen to be millionaires.
I feel that even this book (a fictional novel), has some things are just not supposed to happen.

But overall I found the concepts fascinating. This is not the first book i have read of Joyee Flynn and I feel that she has a wonderful and wicked imagination as well as an extraordinary talent of creating extraordinary plots and loveable characters.

This wasn't as good a book. I enjoyed it overall but there seemed to be big gaps in information. We seem to be dumped into the book and never really catch up. The characters just didn't feel well thought out. They were weak. I really wanted to like the book more than I did. I will most likely continue with the series since I think the series has potential.

Ok, after I accept that this writer write popcorn book's with cliche wall to wall, I was able to like it more.

It's a pwp with a lot of incoherence and unrealistic thing in the small tentative plot. But the sex's hot and just enough dirty for that I don't totally hate the book.

You just don't have to take this seriously.
