Wide eyed hope for our space program, before people realized just how much congress and the presidents hated NASA. For me, the most interesting bit was actually the comment, almost off hand, that both parents would have to work, meaning colonist families would have to be small with only two or three children.

The first book listed from when I started keeping track of start/end dates. It was for a HS Research Paper I was writing on "Future Dwellings" (back when I planned on majoring in architecture). The teacher told us to keep a list of books in case we needed to go back to them when writing our papers. After finishing the research paper I decided that this was such a good idea that I never stopped keeping track.
