An incredible strong collection of poems that explore relationships. The poems weave back and forth between the speaker's parents' relationship, the speaker's relationship with her husband, and the speaker's relationship with her daughter. I have many favorite poems in this book.

This poetry was very easy to read! The subjects that she wrote about were touching, and some of the poems (such as "No Children, No Pets") have amazing imagery! Plus, these are poems but they flow like regular prose; I really enjoy that in poetry. Despite having to read this for a Creative Writing class, I definitely didn't dread having to read this.
