About the author

Jeff Lucas is a Christian author, speaker, life coach, and broadcaster. He holds a pastoral teaching position at Timberline Church in Fort Collins, Colorado. He provides life coaching through Paterson Center. He is a columnist for Premier Christian magazine and for Sorted Magazine he has published 32 books, and he broadcasts a weekly radio show, Lucas on Life. He writes a column of daily bible reading notes, "Lucas on Life Every Day".

A book of short pieces - anecdotal, mainly, with a message to make us smile or feel deeply moved, and pause for thought. He writes from a Christian perspective, but without any jargon, and without toeing any particular denominational line. He is somewhat self-deprecating, sharing his own weaknesses and mistakes, and, generally, shows how his worldview is not so different from that of the majority, other than having Jesus at the centre.

Refreshing, thought-provoking, and well worth reading. Re-read seven years later and enjoyed it just as much. Highly recommended.
