Ninjutsu has long been the most complete form of life training. To take up the art of Ninja can be an overwhelming thought at first, as it should be, for it is truly a life-long voyage of discovery. Simply thinking of the things one may encounter on a ninja mission can give you an idea of the unlimited array of techniques a perfect ninja may need to utilize. What is different about Tesaihiryu is the acknowledgement of each individual’s path of maturation. Everyone grows in different ways, and so, we are not forcing rigid techniques down the throats of our disciples, but rather introducing to them the seeds of living, moving, growing tactics, that are malleable enough to customize for each individual. Our favorite way of expressing this fact is by reminding our students, and yours, that art is not art without personalization.
"What qualifies me to write great fiction? Well, I've been doing a little of everything besides writing for a very long time. Writing, I've been doing a lot of."
In an age where authors are computers, I still find joy in every sentence I write. In fact, I may enjoy writing even more than I do reading! And reading, I do a lot of.
The only thing that holds a torch to the entertainment of my imagination is playing with my kids. And also, playing with the adults when I attend Ninja Taikais (If you know what those are), or go venturing into caves or onto mountaintops in my druidic robes to cast a few spells. Don't believe me? Check out my Substack at Bookflurry and look for 'The Stones Speak'. I keep the Substack so that people know I'm real. It is kind of this old druid's blue book of sorts.
Not to mention, I've played with the Navy Seals and been a decorated EMT. Furthermore, I have survived the throes of marriage and divorce. But the most astounding thing to date, is that I still hold down a day job!
I exist on social media everywhere, mostly under Ninjajaywrites, or Jaymhorne. Find me and we'll chat. I am far from shy and love to share my creations with the world.
