Heathcliff is the original Stray Cat Strutter, possibly the inspiration for Brian Setzer's classic 80s rockabilly tune, about the black and orange Stray Cat sitting on a fence, flat broke but he don't care, he struts right by with tail in the air. This first collection from the strips of George Gately shows Heathcliff, same name as the OTHER romantic puss from that Bronte book, at his most "wuthering heights"! Heath and old lady Ms Nutmegs catch a cab, but the cabbie says no pets allowed. A few seconds later, he's driving both the Miss and the orange terror with a puffy eyeball and a scratched cheek, cos Heath don't take no for an answer. No need for the Beware of Dog signs, the Dogs would rather beware of Heathcliff! Heath likes to watch TV with his folks. His face TV movie: Curse of the Cat People (guess what ideas this will start in the mind of a feline like Heath!) Least fave: Lassie. (Duh! And he probably has less to say about Snoopy, his biggest competitor. Heathcliff all in all is egotistical, brash, demanding, and all the more lovable for it. Check him out! Four stars Heathcliff has got cat class, and he's got cat style!
