I've been training hard for 20 years for personal fitness, and everything I read made sense from my experience in that pursuit. The ultimate pursuit is to live longer better. I loved this for the meal plan - and it DOES actually work!
I am a former personal trainer so I wasn't too interested in the exercises, as I know them all anyway, but I always struggled with nutrition. Not any more. This book has recipes for meals that I actually LIKE!
Of course I didn't like every single thing, but there were plenty of options and I did substitute what I didn't like for what I did.
The first time I followed the plan I found I was too hungry and I ended up adding "bad" things. A few months later I tweaked it and followed a modified version and lost more than 14lbs in the 2 weeks.
I will be doing it again this month, then again in a couple of months' time.
This is a good source for someone who wants to try a quick get into shape diet. He has a very specific diet and excercise routine for a specific amount of days. Clearly written so easy to follow that way but a very intense 14 day plan. I plan to try it next year but it takes a lot of time so I have to wait for all my kids to be in school.
This book is cool to learn about nutrition, and quick muscle building. When I did the 14 day plan last time, I toned up super quick and lost 7 lbs in 2 weeks. I thought that was pretty cool, and I didn't gain it back.

i am soooooo loving this!! I thought it would be hard to eat so clean--but for me--i am eating a larger volume of food than before. I love the exercises, and the pep talks too. I am a pretty fit person--and this is really changing my body! i LOVE it!!!!!
This is one of the very best workouts I have ever tried. I am stronger and more flexible now than I was in my teens and twenties. Try the DVD...it's terrific!
