It's been 23 years, give or take, since I read this book cover to cover, however I have returned to parts of it over the years as a reference. The section of how to remove cording and hooks is amazing. Cords are energetic connection between your subtle bodies and that of another person, and its natural for them to form when you deal with folks, but they should sort of slough off and reabsorb back into your respective energy fields. Sometimes they don't and one or the other of you draw energy from the other, causing both people to become unbalanced. Sometimes this isn't because the connection is too "sticky" (my terms for her ideas) its because the other person holds malice to you, or even is purposefully set about draining your energy. These connections in your energy are like fish hooks. Hence the terms: cords and hooks. She explains a very simple and powerful way to remove and heal the energetic wounds that these conditions cause.

That is only one of a many topics covered in this wonderful tome, which after 23 year, can now be called a classic in its genre.

Not for me . . . by a long shot. I detest when people use terms such as herstory instead of history; or dis-ease, or be-ing, or the word Goddess -- too many times. Over and over, every single page. ugh.
