Last October or around then an anthology came out that had a teaser of every book in this series and I couldn’t wait to get my paws on this one after loving the first 6 chapters. The premise of this multi-author series is that there is a place called Club Rapture and it’s almost impossible to get in but somehow all these people applied and qualified 🙄 for a one night lock-in, on a hand selected floor set to the theme of the 7 deadly sins. Each floor was chosen for each person based on a kink compatibility test they took when submitting their application. When they present their invitation they get a wristband with a color and when the night begins they follow the colored elevator to the floor to play. This is the only one in the series that was MM although there were some RH with MM scenes but I can’t say I’m going to read them. The theme to this one is pride and the color is purple.

So, Sebastian and Tanner are both on the purple pride floor and are drawn to each other. They fuck and play all night and then go their separate ways. But as it turns out Tanner has just been hired at the publishing agency of his dreams and guess who happens to be his new boss?

I liked the sample of this in the anthology but unfortunately some things have changed. In the anthology this was written by two authors but only one wrote this version and it’s her first MM book. Unfortunately, it shows. The first version also had quite the kink factor which it should considering what the premise of this series is but beside some voyeurism and cum play, it felt very tame for a book like this especially when the dedication page says this is for all her readers that love spicy MM romance. I feel like this author wanted to make Sebastian a Dom but she didn’t take it all the way and in the end, he just became “daddy” which was a bit random ngl. The actual romance that develops when they start working together was beyond cheesy but I was looking for some banter or something else to keep me interested and it just didn’t deliver. It also had a 3rd act break up drama for your mama and for a 190 page novella I wish it was more erotica than plot because it’s about a sex club FFS. The sex club is only in the first few chapters and then it’s a cheese fest.

My biggest gripe with this book is the description of Sebastian, the supposed silver fox. When I hear the term “silver fox” I think of someone 50 or older especially a billionaire like this dude is supposed to be. But no Sebastian is fucking 39 making comments like this:

”I’m getting up there in age. Still young enough that it’s not slowing me down, but old enough that most people my age have kids who are starting their own families.”

This sentence makes no sense to me. The majority of my friends had children at about age 27-28 and at age 39, their children would have been 12!! No 12 year old is starting a family and having to hear this guy drone on and on about his age was just ridiculous. Tanner is 26 or something making it so they only have a 13 year age gap and at those ages it’s not even a big deal. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Bottom line. This is a MM debut and it shows and I expected more spice and less cheese.

4.5 stars. For the past year I have read MM books almost exclusively. I had previously read one of Alisha William’s Reverse Harem series and I loved it, so when I saw she was going to be writing her first MM book you better believe I was going to be reading that book! I was super excited to find out I had won an ARC copy and got to read this before the release date!

Tanner and Sebastian were fantastic characters! Their fun was only supposed to be for one night (this one night was a lot of fun to read, sexy times started almost right away and lasted multiple chapters). But of course it doesn’t end up that way and the sexual chemistry between these two was 🔥🔥🔥🔥! I loved their dynamic and loved that there was the presence of the Daddy/boy roles but it didn’t take over their relationship.

I absolutely loved how possessive Sebastian was of Tanner from the very start. Tanner was his and no one else’s, but he wasn’t controlling so it didn’t feel toxic. Sebastian did have some issues coming out but are worked out fairly quickly and I found this book to be way less angsty than I anticipated it was going to be and I really ended up enjoying that.

I really enjoyed Tanner’s character and how he always stood his ground and wanted to make it on his own no matter how much Sebastian wanted to do for him. Tanner had been through so much with his family he deserved to have someone love him for him and he absolutely found that in Sebastian.

The only thing that I wished we had more of was the build up of their relationship. We seemed to miss some of the important parts where they learned about each other and we were just told they had spent all this time talking together. Everything on page was excellent but would have been great to experience those parts too.

Overall, this was an excellent MM book and I really hope that this author decides to write more of them. There was definitely set up for another book between two characters and if their book is written I will be all there for it because their dynamic seemed awesome!

This is one of those reads where it’s a fun book with plenty of smutty times and an easy read.

MM is my favourite trope and whilst this was fun to read, I found it a little bit too fast paced. There was no build up or context, and this gave me no connection to Bash and Tanner.

I liked the plot idea and how the characters are portrayed individually, but I just felt it had missing pieces to gel the story together. But as I say, it was a fun read.

A Night of Rapture and Pride is Alisha Williams’ first pure MM story, and it is spicy! It is a quick and easy read with little angst, and the smut is *chef’s kiss*. I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to more MM from Alisha.

The sexual chemistry between Tanner and Sebastian was intense. They had a magnetic pull that could not be denied – from the moment they locked eyes in the exclusive sex club, through obsessive thoughts of one another, to their failed attempts to keep their distance. They were a forgone conclusion; the question was how they would reach their HEA. Could Tanner’s open nature crack Sebastian, the powerful and aloof billionaire boss scared to acknowledge his own feelings? Or will he lose Tanner forever?

I felt that the short story length limited the depth of character development and emotional connection. I was not as emotionally invested in Tanner and Sebastian as I have been with previous Alisha characters, as they felt a little flat, like we were given the wave tops, not their deeper feelings. Given more time for development, I would have been more invested in their relationship. As it was, the smut kept me enthralled, but I wasn’t as interested in the romance side of the story. * This doesn’t mean I didn’t like the story. I really enjoyed reading it and was left with a smile. *

This story is fast-burn and super spicy. Sebastian is dominant, but it plays out primarily as a Daddy kink, not strict BDSM. Tanner is a glutton for delayed gratification and praise. The sex is passionate and wicked, nothing tame or vanilla. Sebastian knows what he wants and is not afraid to take it. Or give it. All interactions are MM.

This is a delightful read. It is an excellent story for MM newbies and veterans.

If you're going to read this story I have one warning for you, you'd better like reading super hot sex scenes because there a FREAKING load of them in this tale!! This was an absolutely awesome read, Bash and Tanner are adorable and sexy as heck, their hesitant relationship is secret, mostly because of Sebastian's nasty, domineering grandfather. Will love win? Time will tell.

This book is a part of the Vice and Hedonism series. This is Sebastian and Tanner’s story from the anthology A Night Of Sin and Corruption. The anthology piece was co-written however I have taken over the full length story.

I wasn’t aware that this was originally a novella until after I read the book. But it does sort of read like things were fluffed in to make it longer. Maybe even to add unnecessary drama and conflict. For me, this walks the line between a 3 and 4 star. Because I definitely enjoyed Tanner and Bash *together*. It was the world around them that I didn’t enjoy. Specifically the drama between Sebastian and his grandfather. While it was loud and definitely dramatic, it was rarely part of the story. In fact, at times, I forgot that it was an ongoing issue until it was brought up. After an overnight lock-in getting to know each other’s bodies, the addiction and obsession between Sebastian and Tanner starts instantly. They’re complete opposites, ‘different sides of the tracks’, but that doesn’t stop them from being magnetized. Especially when they cross paths again and can no longer avoid each other. It’s obvious that Sebastian is losing his mind having Tanner so close to him, unable to act on all the things he wants to. Sweet Tanner gets swept up in the drama surrounding Sebastian, and it broke my heart.

What a beautiful love story, of two men, from different backgrounds, come together in a night of sinful debauchery, a night neither can forget, and when they both go there separate ways, they both know that this is where it ends, but fate has a different plan for them.

Tanner is on his own, after his parents disowned him for his choice in partner, he has also had to deal with heartbreak after being cheated on by his ex. But he hasn’t let that deter him and with a new job on the horizon he has much to be thankful.

Sebastian is a billionaire, one of wealth and privilege, he loves what he does, but is becoming stifled with the demanding pressure of his grandfather to marry and settle down, for him it’s not on the cards.

When Tanner and Sebastian lock eyes again, does Tanner realise that the man he spent a sinful night with is now his boss. Sebastian is shocked at first, but he can’t help the way Tanner makes him feel.

And here is where they engage in an interoffice romance, one of decedent pure unbridled passion and pleasure. They take risks, they simply cannot get enough of each other, always needing to have their hands on each other.

Sebastian is dominate and possessive, he loves the control, and Tanner responds to him as if he was made for Sebastian solely. There endearment’s for each other is pure foreplay, inciting moments that neither will forget.

For the Christmas holidays they go away together, where they are open and free with each other, where there is no fear or reprisal of judgement. They get lost in each other, making memories and enjoying the experiences they share together.

When they return home, Tanner makes that all important decision, having that conversation with Sebastian, he wants more, however Sebastian has always said to himself that he is not the relationship type, but for Tanner he is prepared to go all out with him.

Tanner invites Sebastian for a night out. Tanner calls Sebastian out on his behaviour, and it’s where Tanner realises that Sebastian isn’t open about there relationship. Tanner breaks it off with Sebastian saying he won’t be his dirty little secret.

Sebastian is heartbroken, he make every attempt to reconnect with Tanner but to no avail, he lets his work slide, he can barely function. And all it takes is for him to have a conversation with his best friend Waylon, for him to see the error of his ways, and how he bullocks the one good thing in his life, the one person who makes him feels things, things that he has never felt before, the one man he comes to love.

In a moment of weakness Tanner gives into his desires with Sebastian, as they make up for lost time in a night of pleasure and passion, no sooner does Tanner realise what he has done, does he leave Sebastian’s side in the cover darkness, the emotional turmoil too much.

Sebastian is done with the control his grandfather has over him. He makes a trip to see his parents where he tells them that he has found the love of his life, Tanner. His parents are shocked at first, but accept his relationship wholeheartedly, because all parents want for their children is to be happy and loved and that it what Sebastian feels with Tanner.

Sebastian them comes face to face with his grandfather, and lays out what he is planning to do with his life, including Tanner from here on out. His grandfather shows disgust, but Sebastian is more than happy to put his grandfather in his place, without an ounce of regret.

And in a moment of pure joy and happiness does Sebastian publicly declare his love for Tanner in front of his employees and Tanner’s work colleagues. Sebastian doesn’t care, because Tanner finally admits that he loves Sebastian too.

And that scene where Sebastian proposes to Tanner, had all the love and feels you could possibly want. Each of them expressing their love to each other. Because that HEA, it was bittersweet as it was magical, and one couldn’t have asked for a better ending than that.

And those blazing hot bedroom scenes. Sebastian’s possessiveness and obsessive need for control and dominance with Tanner, there foreplay it was off the charts. There need for each other was possessive, wicked and depraved, Sebastian own’s Tanner’s heart as Tanner own Sebastian’s. Those s*x scenes were blazing hot, downright dirty and physical, it had all the pleasure and passion one would expect for Sebastian will be all that Tanner will need for Sebastian will always get what he wants, each giving the other the passion and pleasure, they deserve.

This book has it all office, age gap, billionaire romance, one possessive dominant alpha male, one submissive sassy male who has a praise and daddy kink, touch him and wrath vibes, family and friend dynamics, mayhem, mild violence, defiance, jealousy, twists and truths.

OMG! Daddy Bash 😮‍💨 That man didn't know what hit him after his 'one' night with Tanner... One night had him turning into a extremely jealous and possessive alphahole. Every time he called Tanner 'baby boy'... I fucking melted 🫠 Sebastian struggled with what was expected of him, but also the flip side of not caring what anyone thought. He battled this alot through the book. I loved Tanner's well developed self worth, and I was so proud of him standing his ground when necessary. You could tell his past made him who he was. The push and pull of these too was entertaining. For Alisha's first MM, she knocked this out of the park. This was fast paced, hilarious, and totally captured my smutty heart, while also pulling on my heart strings. We got a bit of the forbidden/taboo aspect here too. The sexual tension in the workplace was top notch while the angst wasn't too much, it was a good mix. I would have loved to see a little bit more of what they got up to behind closed doors but there was definitely no shortage of panty soaking scenes here. 🥵 This is my fourth or fifth read by Alisha and I have not found something I haven't thoroughly enjoyed by her. I’m excited to see if we may get a few spin off books from this story.

“A Night of Rapture and Pride” by Alisha Williams blew my mind! This story is steamy, sexy, angsty, and all encompassing — once I started, I could not put the book down, finished in one sitting. Aside from the kindle melting spicy scenes, the MMCs have really great character arcs from start to finish — each growing from and around each other, just love it! Williams writes the story in a way that even though you KNOW what’s coming, the other shoe that’s going to drop, it’s not so heartbreaking that you throw your book away. It’s done realistically and, in my opinion, a way to ease the anxiety of us readers because at that point, we’re all on board for Team Bashnner and want that HEA for them! 🤣💟

Williams takes us on a roller coaster with Tanner and Sebastian and even though it’s hard, coming to terms with losing everything for the sake of love, these two get their happy ending. This book shows that love can overcome all the negative things this world has to offer and Williams shows this in such a respectful way. This love story is full of love and such devotion (despite some hiccups) that it’s truly a joy to read. Thank you, Alisha, for bringing us into Tanner and Sebastian’s love story — it’s everything I didn’t know I needed!

I have enjoyed all the books I have read by Alisha Williams and was excited to read a MM book from her and it did not disappoint. It was full of spicy goodness as well as a great story line that captivated you and pulled you in. This was a fast paced quick read but the characters were fantastic and you could relate to what they were going through emotionally. Tanner is ready to try something new when he was invited to Club Rapture he knew this was what he needed. Sebastian was trying to just get rid of some stress his grandfather was causing and escape for a while in the purple room at Club Rapture when he spotted a man that drew his attention immediately. Tanner and Sebastian had a connection right from the start but once their night was over Sebastian knew he had to walk away. I loved Sebastian's reaction when Tanner walked into his office to start his new job it was priceless and you just could not wait for their journey to begin. These two definitely have a lot of obstacles and issues to overcome mostly on Sebastian's side. The struggles are real and heartbreaking. You can only hope he gets his head on straight and that Tanner doesn't give up on him. I was given this book as an ArC for my honest review.

Wow what a book 🖤

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started reading this story but I found out pretty quickly and I was here for every single minute of it. I couldn’t put it down.

I love anything MM so knowing this was MM had me desperate to see what the story was about 🖤

This is a fast burn, seriously spicy 🥵 amazing story. I loved the characters of Sebastian and Tanner. (Daddy Bash 🥵🥵) where can I find me one of him?!

This book had me squirming from the heat, laughing and crying. You are in for 1 emotional rollercoaster of a ride. I never wanted to get on that ride. Those 2 are fabulous together and I just want to read so much more of them.

I loved how the story flowed and how the characters developed throughout the story. If you like possessive alpha males with a sweet side for their person only and a loveable sweetheart with a naughty side you will love this book 🖤

I can’t wait to see some side characters get their own story 😉

The book is strictly MM which is a bit different than we have come to expect from this author, but it is well worth the read. It's a quick fun read and while it is about a billionaire and his employee there is so much more to this story. There is a hint of BDSM with some Daddy vibes, but nothing too overwhelming. Tanner is sweet and kind, but knows he does not want to be anyone's dirty little secret. Sebastian is hiding his true self to please his old fashioned Grandfather and is afraid to go against him for fear of losing everything. I did feel like the story was a bit rushed once we got to the climax and the resolution of the conflict between the two characters, but since it was a standalone and not a series, I kind of expected it. There were a few supporting characters who intrigued me as well. I'm curious to see if there will be any other stories based in this world.

This book was a great MM. it was a first age gap for me and I really didn’t mind it. The age difference didn’t take away from the story like I thought it would. I’ve read MM before and this ain’t your “standard” MM. There is dom/sub/daddy/baby boy/billionaire, but what got me was the standing up for yourself and the one you loved that got me. I can only imagine the fear or torment that someone goes through to just be themselves when it’s not looked upon as “normal”. This book is very uplifting in that department. There are some very VERY spicy scenes that I wouldn’t mind reading again and again. This book also was “mature” and not like highschool/college/early twenty stuff either which was refreshing. Definitely recommend if you like MM or even interested in reading MM. I feel like this could be your gateway book! LOL!!

Amazing!!! I was first introduced to Tanner and Sebastian in A Night of Sin and Corruption: A Deadly Sins Anthology and I’m so glad to have their full story! I loved them! I don’t read many MM romances but I definitely eat them up in books and this one was no exception! I didn’t not put this down until I was finished!

Tanner is such a sunshine in everyone’s life around him, even with his past. And Sebastian is a workaholic and hides his real self! Except when he’s at the club! And wouldn’t you know it, that’s where they meet and have an unforgettable night together, only for them to be reunited in the workplace. Things get really heated and real fast! I love these two together and their ending couldn’t have been more perfect for them! *sigh*

Alisha you get me everytime! I love everything you put out and I’m so thankful to be on your street team to support you!

Whew! I was honestly blown away, I love Alisha’s works so being able to read this steamy MM book. It blew my mind, and I honestly wouldn’t mind re-reading this deliciously amazing book.

I honestly haven’t read many MM standalone books, usually they’re within an Antho, but having this as a standalone and part of a connected world. Tanner is a great guy, even with a hard past, he is the sunshine that you want in your life. Sebastian is a true workaholic, and doesn’t show his true colors to anyone, except when he’s at the club. These two meet at the club, and have an amazing night together, thinking they won’t cross paths again. The different taboo pieces in this book didn’t turn me off of this book, even with the 15 year age gap.

Double check the TW/CW before diving in but you’re in for a real treat with this book!

Sebastian has been looking forward to the lock-in at Club Rapture where for 1 night only your locked in and debauchery takes place till 6am the next day. Tanner has never been to Club Rapture until he gets his invite for the 1 night lock-in, and see's Sebastian as they're waiting and feel's some kind of pull towards him. I don't read MM much, but I've read several of Alisha's book's and knew going in this book was going to be something else and I wasn't wrong. Phew talk about a heat level of 10 and above🥵🥵 I loved these 2 character's and you will to. I definitely would recommend reading just check the trigger warning's.

Another absolutely phenomenal story by Alisha. She went all out with this one, the story line and the characters were absolutely perfect. This is a part of a Shared World, The Vices And Hedonism Series, and it’s an MM age gap, boss and employee, domineering billionaire romance. And definitely one you won’t want to miss.

Once you pick it up you will instantly fall head over heels for both Tanner and Sebastian. They are absolutely amazing and crazy hot together. The chemistry between them is off the charts. It ends with a HEA and is a complete standalone. This is one book I’d definitely highly recommend!! An absolute must read!!!

Thus book was both the hottest and sweetest I've read this month

Okay, so total honesty here. I have never read just a straight MM before. I have read tons of RH with MM involved, but never just MM. And man, I was missing out!! I also usually can't stand the use of Daddy in books for whatever reason(Other people can like it, no shaming here, just not my cup of tea). However, this time I didn't have any issue with it. It suited the character way too much. Seb and Tanner's story was most definitely a must-read if you like reading MM. They're the perfect balance for each other and so dirty but wholesome in the best of ways. I have no regrets with this book being my first ever MM and loved every second of it!!!! 😍👌🤤😍👌🤤

I love a good MM romance and I love Alisha Williams so I was super excited to read this one. I haven’t read any other books from this series- they are all standalone- so not to worry if you haven’t checked them out.

This particular story is about Bash and Tanner who were supposed to have one hot night together but turns into so much more when Bash ends up as Tanner’s boss. It’s a spicy, grumpy/sunshine, hot boss story about being who you are and embracing your sexuality.

I absolutely loved the chemistry between these two and it is the perfect book if you’re looking for a quick and dirty MM romance!

If you know me at all, MM just pulls at my heart strings time and time again, and this one is no exception. Sebastian and Tanner met each other on a chance encounter at an exclusive S*x club. After one night, they couldn’t help but feel the connection. And what better way than these two men to fall right into each others paths again. The spice was electric with daddy kink, praise, degradation, and c*m play. Sebastian and Tanner are so damn passionate with one another. The ending was incredible and the epilogue was *chefs kiss.

This book was amazing. It was fast paced, very spicy, funny and full of chemistry. If you are looking for an mm book with age gap and a daddy kink this book is for you.

Sebastian and Tanner flowed really good. Even though they fell quickly you can't deny how much love they have for each other. Thats one thing Alisha Williams did amazingly. We got to feel everything these characters did.

One of the best things about the book for me was the support system they both have. They both have people in their lives that are always supportive and always watching out for them.

It was also hot seeing Sebastian get all jealous over Tanner when he met a friend of his 🤭

We first meet Bash and Tanner in A Night of Sin and Corruption anthology. They had one he!! of a steamy night that they both thought would never happen again, until Tanner walks into his new job to find that is new boss is none other then Bash. They decide to continue the fun, but because of Bash's controlling, homophobic grandfather, he keeps the relationship a secret. Feelings start to grow to love but Bash is too afraid of coming out completely. It takes losing Tanner, for Bash to finally realize that he doesn't care what anyone else thinks and will do anything to publicly prove his love for Tanner.

I don't typically read MM romance but I was intrigued by their story and had to see where it went. It was emotional and moving to see the struggles that gay men still struggle with even in the real world. It was inspiring to see Bash stand for his own happiness no matter the consequences. Their story was beautiful and very well done.

This was my first ever standalone MM read. I was a bit apprehensive going into it, and I have struggled to finish this book. However, I have now and did love the epilogue knowing they got their happy ending!

I think my main struggle was the daddy kink, I felt it was just too much. But think that’s a personal preference, if you’re into that then you’ll love this book!

Sebastian & Tanners’ love story is sweet and smutty. Although I struggled to finish the book, I was totally rooting for them.

Wish we got to delve into a little more drama with good old gramps! He deserve it.
