Required for a Church History course. Took some effort to get through but, at the same time, was fairly easy to understand. I appreciated the overview of major events without belaboring items of less significance.

This was a very informational book. It was really hard for me to get into reading (since I lean towards books with a plot). This had historical stories, but its better to read when reading for a class (that way one has accountability).

This is non-fiction of course so it wasn't the most entertaining read. But the history was good, and since I am a history nut, I'm glad I read it.
