Jeff Gunhus is the USA TODAY bestselling author of thriller and horror novels for adults and the middle grade series, The Jack Templar Chronicles. The first book, Jack Templar Monster Hunter, was written in an effort to get his reluctant reader eleven-year old son excited about reading. It worked and a new series was born. His books are available in several languages, been Foreword Reviews Book of the Year Finalists, and reached the USA TODAY bestseller list.

After his experience with his son, he is passionate about helping parents reach young reluctant readers and is active in child literacy issues. As a father of five, he leads an active lifestyle in Maryland with his wife Nicole by trying to constantly keep up with their kids. In rare moments of quiet, he can be found in the back of the City Dock Cafe in Annapolis working on his next novel.

Great insight for young adults living in our society today. Main takeaway: if you want to make something of yourself, you're going to have a put in a ton of effort and hard work. No excuses, no complaining. I love the author's persistent and realistic attitude.

This book offers great advice and is laid out in a very succinct, to the point manner. I recommend this book to any high school or college student, and even to those starting the workforce later in life or after a lay-off. Anyone can follow the resumé advice/guidance as it is simply written in an easy to follow step by step process. Use this, and the other information provided in this book, to help you or anyone else find their first job, or the next job. Thank you!

A brutally direct monologue addressing the grave state of today's job hunt. It's concise, short, and not very sweet in its delivery. Gunhus tends to run circles around 2 recurring points (and if you read/have read it, you'll know what I mean) but the intent to get your ass moving is there.
