Eeyore is tired of long and lonely nights alone in his gloomy place, so he thinks of adopting a pet. After deciding that dogs, cats and parrots won't work for him, he thinks he's found the perfect pet, little realizing there is a bittersweet turn in their future together. A Pooh story that is cute, funny, sad, and original -- just like Eeyore.
(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. How many is that? I’m going to count them this year by reading and reviewing one every day and seeing which month I finally run out. Track my progress here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list... )
It’s amazing how the book isn’t only a fun, cute story, it is also teaching kids about butterflies and caterpillars! It is for all ages. I would definitely rate this book a solid ten out of ten! It’s Amazing!

This is the first Winnie The Pooh book I've read since I was a little girl. I wasn't sure what to expect because I didn't really remember what it was like back then. They weren't as popular to us girls. We didn't jump right on that train! I was pleasantly surprised at what I found! This book was sweet. It was all about Eeyore feeling lonely. Which is something I think everyone can relate to. He goes on this hunt for the perfect pet and has a lot of hiccups on the way! Definitely something I can see myself reading again in the future. Very sweet.

We love Winnie the Pooh. I like the original better, but my kids love him in any form. This is a cute story about how Eeyore seeks a companion and finds out about butterflies.
