Eeyore takes a caterpillar as a pet and is upset when it changes.

Eeyore is tired of long and lonely nights alone in his gloomy place, so he thinks of adopting a pet. After deciding that dogs, cats and parrots won't work for him, he thinks he's found the perfect pet, little realizing there is a bittersweet turn in their future together. A Pooh story that is cute, funny, sad, and original -- just like Eeyore.

(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her every Pooh book we came across. It’s amazing how the book isn’t only a fun, cute story, it is also teaching kids about butterflies and caterpillars! It is for all ages. I would definitely rate this book a solid ten out of ten! It’s Amazing!

This is the first Winnie The Pooh book I've read since I was a little girl. I wasn't sure what to expect because I didn't really remember what it was like back then. They weren't as popular to us girls. We didn't jump right on that train! I was pleasantly surprised at what I found! This book was sweet. It was all about Eeyore feeling lonely. Which is something I think everyone can relate to. He goes on this hunt for the perfect pet and has a lot of hiccups on the way! Definitely something I can see myself reading again in the future. Very sweet.

We love Winnie the Pooh. I like the original better, but my kids love him in any form. This is a cute story about how Eeyore seeks a companion and finds out about butterflies.
