This is a true story, (sort of), about travel, friendship, love, lust and Shakespeare. It's about a group of ex-drama students who, having no work, no money and no clue, decide to start a travelling theatre company, The Bonsai Theatre Company, and travel around schools on the South coast of England, performing Shakespeare for 'O' and 'A' level English Literature students. It tells of their mishaps, triumphs, (I think there are some,) and also tells about their personal loves and lives.

Simon Holt's writing career began with a horror fanzine in high school the publishing of which overheated the school's photocopier. Undaunted by detention, he's continues to pursue writing ever since. Holt supported himself as a hostel night clerk and a handbag salesman before becoming a full-time novelist. A comic book collector and amateur musician, he makes his home in Chicago.
