A light but entertaining football-based romp in which our hero uncovers untoward and deadly goings-on after being asked to provide security for the England manager and his team. It’s fast-paced, laddish and at times very funny, though it should be said that Andrews occasionally tries a bit too hard to squeeze in one clever line too many. Nevertheless an amusing and interesting diversion from my usual holiday reading fare of crime novels.
