Joycee is an ordinary girl who took a risk in an uncommon relationship, and thirteen years later, she has accomplished the extraordinary. Without the help of the corrupt church system, program, or religion, she walked away from a life of drugs, alcohol, domestic violence, emotional and spiritual abuse, and more. For the past twenty-five years, she has learned how to overcome the effects of child sexual, emotional, and physical abuse. After all those years, one might consider her an expert in the healing process. But she is not! She learned not to rely on professionals or clergy. She acquired faith, knowledge, and skill along the way through what she calls Trust the Process; her passion is teaching people of all ages how to recognize and hear the loving voice of God within themselves.
