I rated this one down for the big dramatic speech to a high school girl who had an affair with a teacher that she should "trust him" (the teacher) even though he had proven to be a criminal.
In the next scene the teacher kidnaps the person who made the speech, another of his female students. But she lives so it's ok!

I've noticed a tendency in this series to excuse any sort of illegal, immoral, treacherous behavior as long as the person is being "blackmailed" (usually in not very serious ways) or threatened. Not cool. It's played off as not a big deal, but here the bad guys are always foiled. In real this is how people get nabbed by human traffickers or end up owing money to criminals.

Also, don't sleep with your teacher even if he says he loves you.

Das ist der 6. Band der „Dengeki Daisy“ Reihe von Kyosuke Motomi. Insgesamt gibt es 16 Bände, die man auf jeden Fall in der richtigen Reihenfolge lesen sollte, da die Geschichten aufeinander aufbauen.

Um was geht es in dieser Manga Reihe?
Teru hat ihren Bruder verloren. Bevor er starb, gab er ihr ein Handy, durch das sie Kontakt zu einer unbekannten Person mit dem Decknamen Daisy aufnehmen kann, die sie fortan beschützen soll. Teru versucht, etwas über Daisys Identität herauszufinden und erlebt dabei einige Abenteuer. Was da alles so passiert, könnt ihr dann ja selbst herausfinden.

Dieser Band ist richtig spannend! Ich bin schon sehr neugierig, was es mit dem neuen Charakter auf sich hat, der am Ende auftaucht. Der Zeichenstil und die Charaktere überzeugen mich einfach bei dieser Manga Reihe! Ich mag vor allem Terus freche Art und die ganzen sarkastischen Szenen. Teilweise sind die Wortgefechte zwischen Teru und Kurosaki einfach zum Schießen! Am Ende findet man zwei kleine Bonus Geschichten. Die Zusatzszenen und Anmerkungen der Mangaka finde ich immer toll! Ich mag ihren Sarkasmus. Von mir gibt es daher natürlich wieder 5 Sterne und eine klare Leseempfehlung! Wenn ihr Shōjo Mangas mögt, solltet ihr unbedingt einen Blick auf diese Reihe werfen!

The plot is picking up again in this volume.
Mr. Arai gets in contact with Rena, telling her off his plans to confess to the director about the messages and his 'partner' attacking Teru. But he's cut off suddenly after it's revealed he had no idea about ms. Mori's attack... And then Teru is suddenly kidnapped while waiting for a ride from Kurosaki. The identity of Mr. Arai's 'partner' is revealed after Mr. Arai confesses everything to Teru (and Kurosaki and the boss who are listening over her cell phone), and Arai hands over the data about what the group has been doing so far to Teru (the partner tries to interfere). This takes us to about halfway.
This volume was funnier than usual, with the sub-plots about Teru and her friends from school.
Also adorableness! The final chapter(s?) opens with Kurosaki finding a lost puppy! Aww... He discovered her when he went to meet a friend, but the friend never showed up - and he's unable to get a-hold of him afterwards. Kuroskaki has to solve the mystery of his friends' disappearance while he and Teru take care of the puppy and try to find her owner.

This is one of the worst series for the reader (i.e. me) to pause several months between volumes - there’s a lot going on and it’s not super keen to remind you of the particulars if you forgot. Still, it’s not a bad series - a fun mix of suspense thriller and goofy shojo that usually works more than it doesn’t.

As much as the constant swap to crude drawings that Motomi does is brutally annoying to me (and in one instance cuts the legs clear out of any narrative tension), I would be remiss if I didn’t point out Teru’s big action scene here. At one point there’s a huge, fantastic shot of her mid-motion that’s a work of art and a perfect example of a well-drawn manga panel.

Fun series, definitely plan to finish it... should probably read it a bit more frequently than I currently am, honestly. It’s certainly very ‘of it’s time’ in the genre, but still holds up today.

This book belonged to the best shoujo manga ever! Actually, there are lots of factors that bring out it's awesome-ness, (1)With its strong heroine, (2)conflicted hero, and (3)story -- OF COURSE that does both humor and emotion well, it is still most definitely a series worth reading.

Teru has got to be one of my most favorite heroines ever. She's got guts and is resourceful and hilarious and isn't afraid to show her emotions. She wasn't afraid to risk her life and her guilty conscious is one that isn't hard to sympathize with. She's an awesome girl. No wonder Kurosaki likes her. Poor guy, he's got his work cut out for him.

This volume was a lot of fun & filled with exciting chapters and fun character developments. I also enjoyed the "Zoom in on Tasuku Kurasaki" page as well as the 2 short stories "Holy Night Cosplay Legend & Everyone's Happy New Year ღ" at the end of the volume.

Everyone seems to be pretty straightforward about who the real DAISY is now. It's not a secret that Teru has known for quite awhile, so the fact that she keeps overhearing adults talking about it really does not faze her in any way. Now, if he would just stop worrying so much, and just tell Teru the truth.

Teru und Kurosaki sind noch immer auf der Jagd nach der Person, die sich als Daisy ausgibt und Teru immer wieder in Schwierigkeiten bringt. Dass der ehemalige Lehrer Arai dahinter steckt liegt bald auf der Hand. Nachdem Teru von ihrem ehemaligen Lehrer entführt wird, muss aber Teru feststellen, dass die Drahtzieher der ganzen Sache noch ganz woanders zu suchen sind. Sie und Arai sitzen in einer tödlichen Falle, während Kurosaki und der Meister versuchen herauszufinden, wo sich Teru aufhält. Ein Wettlauf mit der Zeit beginnt.

Wieder einmal überzeugt der Manga von Kyosuke Motomi mit wunderbaren Zeichnungen und einer sehr spannenden Geschichte. Teru als Protagonistin überzeugt immer wieder durch unvorhersehbare und mutige sowie schlaue Handlungen. Kurosaki und seine Freunde sind immer bedacht der kleinen Teru zu helfen, was sie in meinen Augen schon zu Helden macht. Je mehr sich die Geschichte entwickelt, um so mehr fragt man sich, was Terus Bruder wohl entwickelt haben könnte, dass die Täter selbst vor einem Mord nicht zurück schrecken würden. Die Geschichte verspricht auf jeden Fall spannend zu bleiben und auch die Beziehung zwischen Kurosaki und der kleinen Teru scheint immer mehr Form anzunehmen. Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Teil.

Mr. Arai is innocent! He was being played by what is now revealed to be that the school nurse is a spy!! After Teru tackles with her (after being kidnapped) and manages to keep the computer files safe, she escapes! Teru has to have mouth to mouth by Kurosaki, making this their first kiss.

Takeda briefly goes missing and they take his Shiba Inu puppy into their home before he is found again. Akira is revealed but no one in the story truly knows who he is just yet. Kurosaki continues to struggle with his feelings about leaving Teru.

The mystery surrounding Daisy and Teru’s brother is heating up and finally, we see the school nurse’s real side. There’s barely any crumbs with the mystery, but Daisy’s guilt needs to measure up in the end there. The relationships are blossoming and I’m connecting with this hilarious found family. I wish the storyline with the student council member and former teacher was dropped. Let’s see, there’s some not so agreeable stuff, but the plot is intriguing. 3.8/5.

This volume is jam packed with suspense and excitement! Many of the manga I read, and love, I can read through in about 20-30 minutes but Dengeki Daisy takes much longer - and I absolutely love it!! Great story, interesting situations, amazing characters and artwork. I'll definitely keep reading this series!!

It’s been a while since I picked this series back up but it’s still hitting. Love Teru’s growth here, especially when facing the main villain directly. Also Daisy grappling with his feelings, grappling with whatever it was that really went down with Soichiro has me more and more intrigued! It’s really like reading this for the first time and I love that for me.

Teru is totally a "run into the fire" type! She's not a helpless damsel or a badass who refuses help. She trusts her friends and Tasuku/Daisy to have her back. She reminds me of Yuki from Vampire Knight more and more which each volume.
