A good effortless listen. The second half had a lot of words that I found useful. A few I had never heard before, others I had misunderstood. The classical background music was good and appeared to help the learning and retention of words.
This audio-book does not contain neither intrigue nor suspense. You do know the end from the very first minutes. All it does is teach you new English words. And it does that excellent. For each word there is a definition, a couple of usage samples and a repetition at the end. There is also some background classical music playing intended to help you learn better. Though it's a bit strange, I enjoyed listening to the audio-book very much - hope to remember and use at least 30% of the 500 words mentioned :). Good stuff!
This is not a book I 'Read', but I 'Listened'. A good 10 hours learning some new words! There were 500 words explained in this Audible title. A lot many of them were unknown to me. I liked the narration methodology and the grouping of the words. There is a pleasant music background as well.
