Kallysten is a writer of romance novels and short stories, most of them with paranormal elements.

Her first eBooks were published by Linden Bay Romance in 2005. The defunct Venus Press subsequently published a few of her short stories. Because so many of her stories are linked as series and part of the same universe, she decided it would make sense to have them all in the same place, which is why she self-published, first with the co-op Alinar Publishing and now on her own. When she sees calls for submissions that speak to her muse, she sometimes tries for them, and was published this way by Samhain and Torquere.

HOT & ADDICTING!

Wow, I love it! This is one hot short story series that has me addicted for more. This is my first read of Out of The Box since I won it on a blog hop and boy let me tell you that Kallysten's writing is subperb. The Characters are well connected with their emotions that I even felt for them. By the end of the book after reading Virginia and Anando's story I immediately told myself I need to buy the next book in this series, I am so hooked. Great Read!

There is just something about this series that draws you in and hold your attention the whole time. Kallysten really has a talent for crating a beautiful tale that easily enthralls the reader.

Virginia is a great character, being curious myself I could really relate. Anando is delicious and charismatic. Loved this pairing and they make a delightful couple.

This book is beyond steamy!! Oh holy, hot and heavy!!! Seriously sit in a tub of ice while reading this!! Do not make the mistake of reading in public. You will be blushing and feeling naughty, everywhere. Loads of smexyiness throughout, each encounter hotter than the last.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Hollie Jackson, who does an awesome read. She has a great pace that helps draw out the heat. I love the slight rasp in her tone, it makes naughty bits really sing.

I am very happy I listened to the whole series in one book rather than reading it piece mail on my Kindle. I would have hated having to wait for the next part. This book merges the story and I really could not tell how it was broken up previously.

I am not always in love with vampires, but Kallyston really makes it HAWT!! I love her style and voice as an author, I really hope she does a smexy bear shifter series to really make me happy!

Disclosure - I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts, opinions and ratings are my own.

In installment number 8 of the Out of the Box series things totally change for Anando and Virginia. At first it was a good thing but then it turned for the worse.

On The Edge was Having a Halloween party and our favorite couple decided to use the holiday to experience a new game - role playing. Virginia was to be the vampire and Anando the human. As the night progressed, thing were going great so Virginia decided to invite her "human" to her "lair". Only this wasn't a game. Virginia was actually giving a vampire permission to enter her home. It was time for her to bring her vamp lover back to her place.

The role-playing between Virginia and Anando in this story was extremely cute. It was great to see Anando flustered for once. I was starting to think that the man was calm, cool and collected all of the time. The little tidbits of info that Virginia managed to pull out of him gave me a brief glimpse of his turning. That was something that I wasn't expecting.

Another thing that warmed my heart was that all the rules that Anando and Virginia tried to impose upon their relationship finally got thrown out. It was about that they started to get to know each other properly. There was obviously more between the two than just sex.

This was a great read with a cliffhanger of an ending that leaves you hungry for more.
