I've been a professional astrologer for nearly 30 years and The Horoscope: its Road and Travelers was one of the first astrology books on my shelf. It's brilliant. It's a nuts and bolts learn the basics. For such a small book it's packed full of information. Even after all these years it's still one of my dip-in reference books.

There's an explanation of what the planetary glyphs represent. Details of each sun sign type, planets in signs, planets in houses and every planet in angle to each other. You can learn about declinations, polariries and mutual reception.

Best of all it has a fabulous illustration of what all the houses mean, which planets rule those houses/signs, and each sign is broken down into which sign rules each degree.

It even has little exercises that you can use while you study.

If you're serious about learning astrology this is a must have for your shelf.
