Tracey West is the New York Times bestselling author of Dragon Masters, a series in the Scholastic Branches line. She has written more than 400 books for kids, including the Pixie Tricks series and the Underdogs series with Kyla May.

Some readers also know Tracey for writing books based on animation such as Pokémon and LEGO Ninjago.

This book is so wonderful! It is indeed one of my favorite books!
It is about Ash and his friends in the Grandpa Canyon. Team Rocket exploded the canyon suddenly, which sent some of them into the cave below the earth's crust. In this book, a Pokemon, Charmeleon evolved into a Charizard! And, an extinct Pokemon, Aerodactyl came back to life! It has an amazing story plot. At the end, they received an egg which looks so special. If you read books after this one, you will realize that a Togepi hatched out.

Being attacked by a supposedly extinct Pokemon, and acquiring a rare egg Pokemon? All in a day's work for Ash Ketchum, who strives to be the World's Best Pokemon Master.

I kinda feel sorry for poor Jigglypuff, who feels like no-one listens to her song, because she doesn't understand that her beautiful song puts everyone to sleep.

This, along with a few others from the series, were very important to me as a kid. I utterly adored Pokémon. It made reading more interesting, too. I even chose particular words in these books as spelling lessons. I'll always remember you, early 2000s Scholastic Pokémon books.

Charmeleon evolving was peak.

Reading dates are very general and vague, but chosen specifically just for my organisation.

Archaelogical Pokemon Adventure

Loved this Chapter book on Pokemon!!! Ash & Friends go on an Archaelogical Dig to win a contest on Fossil Digs. They end up having a blast and towards the end an extremely rare Pokemon that we don't have much info on at the beginning of the Pokemon series in general ^_^

This Book was filled with Action & Adventure, Fun & Comical Read ^_^

This is the chapter book version, of Ash, Misty, Brock and Pikachu's adventure in Grandpa Canyon. The basic story is the same as the picture book version, but there is far more detail, including more Pokémon battles and what happened with the egg.
