Reading this was just pure nostalgia. I felt like a kid again sitting in front of my tv watching Pokemon in the mornings.

While the story was not bad it was technically the last book in the series and it was a really middling lackluster way to end it. It ends on a story that's not even really focused on Ash or any of his friends.

as I've gotten older I've realized the original series is really all I care about. still three stars for pure nostalgia value.
